But first, a little bit about me and my mission.
I’m putting my 25 years of experience as a keynote speaker, trainer, educator, and coach, blending them with my educational background in Literature (BA), Instructional Design (MS), and Strategic Communications (MS degree in progress), adding in some pop-culture references, TED-Talk geek outs, personal stories, and putting them into a bite-sized, Monday morning read for you to boost your communication confidence.
Also, for the first few months of this journey, you won’t just get the Mic Check; you’ll also get a little peek behind the scenes as to WHY and HOW I am doing this.
For example, next week I will share with you why I, as an introverted immigrant with limited English and crippling social anxiety, became a keynote speaker and communications trainer. It’s quite a story that I think many of you will relate to.
